Our 2.5-hectare property on the Azorean Island of São Miguel features 800m² of historical buildings, an ocean view, and a private beach. It is located just 26 minutes from the airport.
Surrounded by waterfalls, geothermal baths, lakes, and natural reservoirs, Porto Formoso offers an ideal setting for our sustainable resort and community.

You will have free access for 90 days per year to low-season accommodation at Ser Água within the first 5 years, and then you will have the option to move in full-time if you wish. Your initial investment will determine which accommodation you can use, ranging from a 35 m² apartment with balcony to a 80 m² house with ocean view.
Seasonal Memberships
Between the months of October and March Ser Água is operating as well on a membership basis. Members pay an anual fee, can stay up to 90 days per year, and are able to have all the benefits from the resort within a vibrant international community of digital nomads, entrepreneurs and artists. Each member will receive a a certain amount of tokens to be spent for the stay, or to be even used at local establishments around Porto Formoso.
If the tokens are not used, they can be cashed out at the end of the respective year at a discount of 50%. The other 50% will be designated to support land regeneration projects around Ser Água. The low season in São Miguel is peaceful, and temperatures are mild, making it a perfect time for seasonal remote work, surrounded by nature and like-minded people.
